Obama acts quickly, lays out his abortion and gay agenda

Since none of us know God’s total will at any time, what shall we do?  Can we look at His changing creation by human hands and ask, “WHAT WOULD HE HAVE US DO NOW?”

Up to 30% of the animal and human kingdom today is gay.  Is that God through nature trying to reduce the birth rate because too many animals and humans are being born to support His original Creation?

MANY SAY THAT GOD NEVER CHANGES.  WHAT IF PART OF GOD’S NEVER CHANGING IS THAT HE ALWAYS ADJUSTS TO THE NEGATIVE REACTIONS OF HUMANS AND THEIR ADVERSE EFFECTS ON HIS CREATION?

EVEN MORE, COULD IT BE THAT OUR ETERNAL BEING IS SO LOVING AND KIND THAT HE REPAIRS OUR IGNORANCES UNTIL WE COME TO UNDERSTAND THAT ETERNAL EXISTANCE IS SPIRITUAL, NOT PSYSICAL?

WHY WOULD HE/SHE/IT SAY THROUGH HIS HUMAN FORM (JESUS, THE PROPHETS, MOHAMMED, ETC) “I MUST LEAVE SO THAT THE ETERNAL BEING MAY COME AND LEAD US TO ETERNAL, JOYOUS, EVERLASTING LIFE WITHOUT END.”?

COULD IT BE THAT THE ALL CREATING, ALL KNOWING, ALL WISE BEING (The Eternal God) NOT WANT US TO BRING A HUMAN BEING INTO THE WORLD THAT WAS NOT WANTED OR WAS TOO OVERBEARING TO HIS PHYSICAL CREATION?  WOULDN’T THIS SUPREME, ETERNAL BEING WANT THAT SPIRITUAL BEING TO AVOID THE HORROR OF AN UNLOVED AND UNWANTED HUMAN EXISTANCE AND ENTER INTO ETERNAL SPIRITUAL EXISTANCE?

COULD IT BE THAT THIS ETERNAL, CREATING BEING (THE ETERNAL GOD), WANT US TO ABORT THIS CONDEMNED PHYSICALLY BORN CHILD TO ETERNAL LIFE?

ALL OF THIS IS IN THE SACRED SPIRITUAL WRITINGS.

ABOVE ALL, WE CANNOT LEAVE THE REVELATIONS OF THIS CREATING, ETERNAL HOLY BEING TO THE INTERPRETATION OF ONE RELIGION (over 4200 created by humans).

WE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN EACH AND EVERYONE OF US (so Jesus said).  NO PREACHER, MINISTER, OR TEACHER CAN LEAD US IN THIS.

AS THE WRITER(‘S) OF HEBREWS WROTE: “WE ARE THE PRIESTHOOD OF BELIEVERS.”

There is no longer a pope, minister, preacher, teacher, between you and the ever-adjusting supreme being (the eternal God).  You have been created by Him (the priesthood of believers) to talk, understand, and grow with this eternal being into life eternal.

This Eternal Being wants to be directly in touch with YOU through your heart, conscious, and still small voice.

You are unique.  He has joys and gifts for you that none other knows.  HE WANTS TO INSPIRE YOU DIRECTLY.  SEARCH AND LISTEN TO HIM IN HIS URGING AND STILL SMALL VOICE.

THERE ARE THOSE THAT ONLY “YOU” CAN REACH.

SPEND YOUR TIME, MONEY, AND EFFORTS ON THOSE HE LEADS YOU TO, OK?

HE HAS EVOLVED US TO THINK ON HIS LEVEL.  YOU NEED NO ONE ELSE.  ONLY THIS ETERNAL, LOVING, EVOLVING TO YOUR UNDERSTANDING ARE YOUR YOU TO GIVE YOUR TOTAL DEVOTION AND OBEDIENCE TO THIS ULTIMATE, ALL LOVING AND CREATING BEING WHO REACHES THROUGH ALL RELIGIONS TO BRING US FINALLY AND TOTALLY TO HIM (I am so overwhelmed I can no longer bring words to my fingers).

Just listen to Him and you will be totally and eternally bound to Him.  There are people that only you can reach.  Follow your urgings.  No rules, rituals, through you to others.  Just love and accept them and let His Spirit love and speak to Him.

I am overwhelmed, spent, and totally exhausted.  HE IS REACHING OUT TO YOU TO REACH OUT TO OTHERS THAT NO ONE ELSE CAN REACH.  No judgement.  In their shoes you may have turned out the same way.  LOVE THE UNLOVED; ACCEPT THE UNACCEPTABLE; TOUCH THE UNTOUCHABLE AND YOU WILL LEAD THEM TO AND FIND EVERLASTING LIFE!

The kingdom of God dwells within you.

Genesis 1:26-27 (New International Version)

WHAT DID THE WRITER (WRITERS?) MEAN BY ”LET US”? 

 (Many years before writing was invented these thoughts were handed down orally. Several gods were believed in during that time.  Later there were several writings from other cultures about the creation story.  This could be a combining of those writings).

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE CREATED IN THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF GOD?

 Could it be that God, as each human is born physically, breathes His Breath (Spirit) into us, that spiritually we have always been alive and at one with God, but that our human life begins when He breathes His breath into us?

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO “LET THEM RULE…. OVER ALL THE EARTH?”

 

God did rest on the 7th day, right?  Is it now all up to us?  Does ruling (having dominion) over all the earth mean that we should be doing all we can to take care of His creation, including ourselves and our neighbors?  What about global warming, melting glaciers in the Artic and Anartic causing tides to rise and fish to die, stronger hurricanes, wilder fires, etc.?  What about the poison in the air we breath, the water and food we drink and eat? What about all the garbage filling the landfills, rivers and oceans?  Can we help prevent that?

Chopra’s book, Jesus: A Story of Enlightenment, speculates a story of the Messiah-to-be during what might be called his early Wanderjahr. We meet Jesus consulting with a guru on an icy mountaintop in what seems like Tibet . Chopra spoke with TIME about his novel.

Your Jesus story is tremendous fun to read, but where is it in the Bible?

I also researched that period in history for Jesus’s religious context, political and cultural contexts, the Jewish sects at the time, the occupation by Rome . One day I was reading the Gospel of John 10: 30, where Jesus says, “I and God are one.” I interpreted this as “those who have knowledge of God are God.” In Eastern philosophical systems there’s an established idea of a path through personal consciousness to a collective conscience to a universal conscience, which people call the divine. I concluded that Jesus must have experienced this consciousness, and that he must have followed a path. Fundamentalist Christians always quote Jesus in the Gospel of John saying “I am the way. In your book there is a crucifixion, but only reported secondhand by Jesus as something like a dream.

Every spiritual tradition has this idea of death and resurrection. What would Jesus say?

Jesus would say, Recognize the difference between wealth and money. The rest is one big casino, making money off money or losing money off money.

FDR’s First Inaugural Address

Franklin D. Roosevelt had campaigned against Herbert Hoover in the 1932 presidential election by saying as little as possible about what he might do if elected. Through even the closest working relationships, none of the president-elect’s most intimate associates felt they knew him well, with the exception perhaps of his wife, Eleanor. The affable, witty Roosevelt used his great personal charm to keep most people at a distance. In campaign speeches, he favored a buoyant, optimistic, gently paternal tone spiced with humor. But his first inaugural address took on an unusually solemn, religious quality. And for good reason—by 1933 the depression had reached its depth. Roosevelt’s first inaugural address outlined in broad terms how he hoped to govern and reminded Americans that the nation’s “common difficulties” concerned “only material things.”

FOR YEARS MOST OF THE POOR AND MIDDLE CLASS HAVE BEEN FEARFUL BECAUSE WE HAD PROBLEMS THAT WERE TOO BIG FOR US TO HANDLE LIKE HEALTH CARE, JOB SECURITY, REDUCING VALUE OF OUR INCOMES, LACK OF PROPER HEALTH CARE, OUR ELDERLY, ETC,  CONGRESS NOR THE PRESIDENT HAS DONE ANYTHING ABOUT IT.  THEY GAVE EXCUSES LIKE “WE ARE AT WAR,” “WE DON’T HAVE ENOUGH TRAINED AMERICANS TO KEEP UP WITH TECHNOLOGY,”  ETC.  MOSTLY THEY JUST BLAMED THE OTHER PARTY.

 

FINALLY, MANY OF THE RICH AND POWERFUL AND THEIR REPRESENTATIVES (THE PRESIDENT AND THE CONGRESS) ARE BECOMING AFRAID OF LOSING THEIR WEALTH AND, BY FEARFUL TACTICS, ARE TRYING TO MAKE US SO AFRAID THAT WE (AND OUR CHILDREN’S CHILDREN) WILL PAY TO BAIL THEM OUT.  THEY WANT US TO FORGET OUR NEEDS AND PROTECT THEIRS.  $700 BILLION WITHOUT ACCOUNTABILITY??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

 

THEY PUSHED FOR A FREE MARKET, DEREGULATION AND SMALLER GOVERNMENT.  NOW THEY WANT THE OPPOSITE TO PROTECT THEIR WEALTH.

 

A PRESIDENT LIED AND SCARED US INTO THE VIETNAM WAR; ANOTHER PRESIDENT LIED AND SCARED US INTO THE IRAQI WAR,  AND NOW THEY ARE TRYING TO SCARE US INTO PROTECTING THEIR WEALTH WITHOUT ANY ACCOUNTABILITY AND WITHOUT PROTECTING WHAT WE HAVE.

 

IN TIMES OF FEAR WE NEED TO PAUSE, LOOK AT THE DYNAMICS, MAKE SURE ALL CONCERNED ARE TREATED FAIRLY, DECIDE ON THE BEST COURSE TO TAKE AND DO IT, DON’T YOU THINK?

WHAT IS THE “WORD OF GOD” AND “THE VIRGIN BIRTH”?

(I don’t necessarily agree with all the links cited.  It’s just a vast array of different opinions that you can decide on by the guidance of the Holy Spirit).

 

Many people listen to preachers who are not trained in the development of the Bible.  It is copies of copies of copies that broke apart (written on papyrus-a thin form of wood that kept breaking apart), had to be pieced together (by human beings, not God), and comments were written on the margins by scribes that later blended into the text (does your preacher understand this?). 

 

We must not forget that humans decided which books should be in the Bible.  The true word of God is in the true teachings of Jesus (hard to find) and other spiritual leaders, God’s creation, and the Holy Spirit in our hearts (Jesus said that he would send us a Comforter).

 

If I go to a doctor, I don’t want to know his religion or whether he is a drug addict or not.  I want to know his batting average in what he does (hard to find, but possible).  God expects us to use our minds and make the best choice.  We are made in His image, right?

 

There is an ad in the Aiken paper that advertises “Bible Worship” (that’s idolatry, right?).  More street signs in front of churches advertise “Bible Centered” rather than “Christ Centered” (it should be “God Centered” because Christ was trying to direct us to God).

And what about the virgin birth?  Many leaders of that day were reportedly born of a virgin.  St. Paul never mentions it.  His main thrust was the resurrection of the believers.

Finally, blood sacrifice came from the religions that the Hebrews were captured by.  Do you really think that a God who said that we must forgive others 70 times 7 would require blood sacrifice of an innocent victim?

WHAT’S GOING ON WITH THE NEWS?………….

Where is Walter Cronkite?  Edward R. Murrow?  Etc.?  Who are these monsters with mics growing out of their ears at CNN?;  Raising obsurb points, questions, anything to keep you tuned?  Have any studied American society, history, culture, to help us understand the greatness of the true America?  Or are they idiots that have only studied and been primed to keep your attention until the next commercial?

Do we even know of the reporters of newspapers and networks that have editors that have the independence to state what they see without regard to the corporations that have the largest ad investments?  THE ONLY HOPE FOR AMERICA IS THAT A MAJORITY OF US WILL LOOK FOR THE UNADULTERATED TRUTH AND VOTE ACCORDINGLY.  I AGREE; IT IS THE LESSOR OF 2 EVILS, BUT THAT’S ALL WE HAVE UNTIL WE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.  IF WE DON’T GET INVOLVED, IF WE ACCEPT THE SPOON FEEDING OF THE IGNORANT REPORTERS, HIP SHOOTERS, AND PREACHERS, WE DESERVE OUR FALSE CONCLUSIONS AND WILL SUFFER THEIR CONSEQUENCES.

Rome eventually fell, but I believe that you will search to know the truth (not that I know yet) and vote accordingly.  THE ICE CAPS ARE MELTING, A MAJORITY OF SCIENTISTS SAY WE ONLY HAVE 6 to 8 YRS TO TURN IT AROUND, AND WE, IF WE HESITATE, MAY NOT HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLAIN OUR STUPIDITY TO OUR GRANDCHILDREN (I’ve already had to do that).

THERE WILL COME A TIME WHEN WE WILL FAIL AS A CULTURE AND NATION.  IS IT NOW, OR WILL WE POSTPONE IT THROUGH OUR ACTION?

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO INDIVIDUALITY OF THINKING AND SPEECH?

MANY OF THE GREAT SPIRITUAL LEADERS OF THE PAST LEFT EVERYTHING TO SPEND TIME ALONE IN THOUGHT AND MEDITATION TO FIND TRUTH.  WHERE ELSE IS THE CREATOR (SPIRIT OR CAUSE) OF THE UNIVERSE REVEALED MORE THAN IN NATURE AND HUMAN BEINGS, THE HIGHEST CREATION?  WE ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CAN THINK.  WHY AREN’T WE DOING IT?

 

WHERE DID ANY OF THESE GREAT SPIRITUAL LEADERS (JESUS MOST OF ALL IN MY MIND) TALK ABOUT BUILDING BUILDINGS, MONUMENTS, STATUES, ETC.  WHERE DID THAT TALK ABOUT CEREMONIES AND RITUALS?

 

WHY HAVEN’T BELIEVERS OF THE MOST HIGH (WHOMEVER YOU THINK) UTILIZED SCHOOLS AND EMPTY BUILDINGS TO DO THEIR MINISTRIES INSTEAD OF BUILDING BUILDINGS?  ARE YOU AWARE OF HOW LITTLE THE MONIES OF CHURCHES, SYNAGOGUES, ETC GO TOWARDS CARRYING OUT THEIR LEADERS’ TEACHINGS?

 

IT IS SAID THAT JESUS HAD NO PLACE TO LAY HIS HEAD.  DO YOUR LOCAL SPIRITUAL LEADERS ADOPT THAT LIFESTYLE?

 

I HAVE RELIGIOUS DEGREES UP MY SPINE (THAT’S CLOSE), BUT THEY ALL TAUGHT ME THEIR DOCTRINES.  WHAT ABOUT THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN US AND THAT ALL OF HIS CREATION IS RELATED TO EACH ONE OF US?

 

IT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE THAT THE BEST WAY TO LEARN ABOUT THE CAUSE OF IT ALL IS TO STUDY OR GO TO A NON-RELIGIOUS FULLY ACCREDITED INSTITUTION THAT SEARCHES FOR FACTUAL TRUTH WITH NO RELIGIOUS BIAS.

 

WHY NOT SUPPORT A CHURCH THAT ACCEPTS SAINTS AND SINNERS, BELIEVERS AND NON-BELIEVERS?  DO YOU KNOW ANY PASTORS THAT WILL ACCEPT NO MORE INCOME THAN THE AVERAGE OF HIS/HER/ITS FOLLOWERS?  THE CREATOR SURELY MADE THEM ALL AND THAT MAKES THEM A PART OF US, DON’T YOU THINK?

 

HOW DO THE NEWS NETWORKS AND TALK SHOW HOSTS MAKE MONEY?  BY ATTRACTING MORE LISTENERS AND VIEWERS TO THEIR PROGRAMS.  HOW DO THEY DO THAT?  BY STATING HALF-TRUTHS (AND WHOLE LIES) THAT NEVER COME TRUE, BUT EXCITE PEOPLE TO TUNE IN.

 

HOW DO MANY CHURCHES AND NON-PROFIT ORGS MAKE PROFITS?  COULD IT BE THAT THEY POINT OUT DIFFERENCES BETWEEN OTHER GROUPS AND THEMSELVES AND HOW SOMEHOW THEY KNOW MORE ABOUT THE TRUTH?

 

I’M ALL FOR A PERSON HAVING THE RIGHT TO MAKE ALL HE CAN ON HIS OWN, BUT WHEN IT COMES TO MAKING IT OFF THE BACKS OF HIS/HER/ITS EMPLOYEES AND BANKRUPTING THEIR PENSIONS AND BENEFITS…DO YOU THINK THAT IS DEMOCRACY, BEING FAIR?

 

HOW CAN WE EVER HAVE A MORE FAIR ELECTION SYSTEM THAN THOSE WHO RAISE THE MOST MONEY WILL WIN THE ELECTIONS?  COULD IT BE THAT WE DO AWAY WITH THE 2 PARTY SYSTEM, LET ANYONE RUN FOR OFFICE AND LIMIT THEM ALL TO A SAME LEVEL OF FINANCES?

Yesterday I challenged you to help me monitor faith’s role at this week’s Democratic National Convention – we will have another challenge for the Republicans next week. But, we need to be ready to ask candidates at all levels important questions about their views on the intersection of religion and government.

Today, Interfaith Alliance introduces new online resources with 5 questions to ask every political candidate.

As religion plays an increasingly prominent role in American politics, preserving the boundaries between religion and politics is more important than ever.

We want you to ask the candidates for every level of political office:

• What role will your faith or values play in creating public policy or making appointments?
• What are your views on the boundaries between religion and government?
• What steps will you take to protect the rights of your constituents regardless of faith or belief?
• How will you speak about your beliefs without making them just another political tool?
• How will you balance the principles of your faith and your obligation to defend the Constitution, particularly if the two come into conflict?
